A Look Back At 2023

As we gear up for the thrilling changes on the horizon, including the much-anticipated server upgrades in 2024, let’s take a moment to revel in the exhilarating journey we’ve had. The excitement for the future is palpable, but before we catapult into the new year, it’s time to soak in the energy of our recent successes.

Our journey kicked off with a bang in the first quarter of 2023 when we implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). Picture this: “rocks” dropped into our business pond, creating ripples of quarterly goals that propelled us to work not just in, but on the business itself. This seismic shift forced us to define who we are and refine how we serve our trusted clients. The EOS wave also brought about a fantastic change—enter Irene, our newly anointed Integrator and Vice President of Client Experience. Thanks to this operating system, we’ve amped up our productivity and clinched numerous victories throughout 2023.

Welcoming new team members further enriched our collective expertise. Brett Irby, our Digital Sales Consultant, joined us in March, and Asha Lloyd, a dynamic force serving as Digital Project Manager and Account Manager since October, has proven to be a game-changer, infusing our team with fresh perspectives.

Our accomplishments in 2023 are underscored by tangible results. In the realm of website development, we successfully launched 27 new sites for businesses of various sizes across the United States. These launches not only showcase our technical prowess but also afford us the opportunity to intimately understand our clients’ needs. Among the standout websites are Foundation First and Paragon Autism, dedicated to supporting families and children in their pursuit of education and growth. Monster Roofing, a locally owned and operated veteran roofer in the Fredericksburg region, also found a home in our portfolio.

Turning our attention to the digital marketing department, a conscious effort was made to enhance and modernize our reporting practices. Upholding the principle of transparency, a cornerstone of The Childress Agency, we implemented automated reports to ensure accountability. The department’s commendable initiative led to the revamping of monthly reports and the introduction of new quarterly reports scheduled to debut in 2024. Our digital marketing client base expanded to include Elkwood Stone & Mulch, for whom we not only designed a website but also provided social media management and PPC advertising.
