Operation Tribute to Freedom
NCI founder and CEO, LTC (Ret) Paul Trapp, has a long history of planning and executing national outreach campaigns in support of our military communities and veterans. As the Commander of the 107th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, he deployed his unit to Washington, DC overseeing the Operation Tribute to Freedom (OTF). OTF was established by the Defense Department at the onset of the U.S. War on Terrorism as a way for Americans to show their continuing support and to express this support for the nation’s military men and women. Paul supervised a staff of 21 military community relations officers, and broadcast/ photojournalists and successfully oversaw the management, outreach and branding of multiple “Operation Tribute to Freedom” events. These events helped to shape the public’s opinion, and build a stronger bond between the American citizens and the Armed Services across America.
