Friday Focus: Welcome Jessica! — new-location
The Childress Agency would like to welcome Jessica Patrick to our creative team!
Jessica is our newest Graphic Designer. She graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Mary Washington in 2008. She just recently graduated from George Mason University with her Graphic Design Certificate. Jessica has worked in the industry as an assistant account executive at Leigh Agency in Falls Church.
We asked Jessica some questions so we could welcome her and get to know her better!
What was your nickname in middle school?
I’ve never had a nickname. I’ve always wanted one, but my friends could never think of one. I just go by Jess.
What are you currently binging on Netflix?
Nothing on Netflix right now, but recently I’ve been watching all of the old episodes of Will and Grace because I’d like to watch the new episodes, but I can’t until I’ve seen all the old ones. I have to watch or read things in order. I know each episode is different, but it would still bug me.
Cats or Dogs?
Dogs! I love dogs. We have three Mini Schnauzers at home. I like cats too, but unfortunately, I’m allergic.
If you could be any animal in the world what would you be and why?
I would probably choose an owl. I’m a night owl myself, so I can relate. Plus, they are so cute and clever.
What is your favorite Board Game?
That’s a tough question. As a kid I loved Tornado Rex, Mouse Trap, and Mall Madness, to name a few.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like creating digital illustrations on my Wacom Tablet, watching TV, cross-stitching, reading, and playing on my DS.
What is one interesting fact about you?
I’m big into arts and crafts. For my leave behind project at GMU, I made bookmarks for all my classmates and teachers. I even hand-made the charms to go on the tassels by using polymer clay, acrylic paint, Rub n’ Buff, and glaze.
