Friday Focus: Here we grow again!
The time is right to make a deal! Meet our newest
addition to Childress Agency, Mr. Eric Martin
Childress Agency would like to welcome Mr. Eric Martin to our executive team. Martin’s role will serve as Director of Business Development for the company, with a primary focus on managing our sales team and serving new and previous clients.
“I am excited to join forces with one of the best known, successful creative agencies in the Mid-Atlantic, and to be a part of taking you to the next level of expansion,” Martin said during a congratulatory handshake with agency founder, Gerald Childress. Martin has an extensive background in multi-media and marketing services, including 30 years of providing winning strategies and content for national clients including Proctor & Gamble and Americans for Prosperity.
His passion is helping small and medium sized businesses to think outside the mainstream and stand out in their branding efforts, then guiding them through the web, print, video, radio, and mailing sales strategy processes. As a small business owner himself, Martin has successfully founded and operated several retail stores in the Eye Care industry throughout Northern Virginia and inside the Pentagon, so it is safe to say that Eric “has your vision in his sights.”
A few of Martin’s Virginia clients have included Silver Companies, Spotsylvania County Economic Development Department, The City of Fredericksburg, Eastern Virginia Career College, Development Consulting Services, and the FRED Transit System.
While consulting with local and state government agencies, Martin has created communications, web, and digital brand solutions for economic development, tourism, public transportation, politicians, non-profit causes, and public education needs.
As the seasons change, every year in Virginia there is a political election somewhere. Martin has been the difference in winning with strategy, messaging, marketing products, mail campaigns, and design in many dozens of races across the United States from local school board to the U.S. Senate. If you are in need of a full package of political marketing products, the combined talents at Childress Agency and Eric Martin have got you covered.
When Eric is not busy making money for others or brainstorming with new clients about their goals and success plans, he enjoys volunteering on numerous government committees and boards in the region that help guide or advise public services, policy, or education programs. Martin knows that a healthy local economy is a growing economy and he is “dedicated to rising the tide for all boats.” Additionally, Martin is a commercial real estate broker, an optician, single-engine pilot, and Marshall of Masonic Lodge 1752 in Fredericksburg, VA—so you know all deals are squared and on the level.
